Petroleum & Natural Gas Facilities

The Center for Quantitative Imaging has two scanners: an Industrial scanner called the OMNI-X and a medical scanner called the HD250. The scanners are housed in lead-shielded rooms that provide open access to the machines for setting up experiments as well as for scanning static objects. The center was constructed by funds from the National Science Foundation, The Pennsylvania State University, and by the USX Foundation.
