Facilities

The EMS Energy Institute research facilities are centralized within four buildings, which are located on the east side of Penn State's University Park Campus. In addition, the Institute maintains a demonstration-scale 15 million Btu water tube boiler and a fuel preparation facility and over 5,000 square feet of dedicated space for Penn State's Coal Sample Bank.
