Distinguished Lecture 2019 – 2020 on How to Make Compositional Simulation Truly Compositional

This talk discusses a new way of thinking about petrophysics and compositional simulation. We introduce the idea for the first time of an equation of state for relative permeability and capillary pressure that we hope will transform petrophysical thinking, and then show the significant benefits of this approach to making compositional simulation faster, more accurate, and robust.
