Wage Payroll Positions at The Energy Institute, Spring 2007

The Office of Student Development can assist faculty and staff who are interested or in need of undergraduate student help on research projects during this semester and this summer. Involving undergraduate students in research projects is in direct support of our educational mission and acts as a pipeline for potential graduate students. Students could assist in routine analytical work, assist graduate students, etc. Please send me how many students and what majors you are interested in and potential projects (optional). Generally undergraduate students work no more than 10 hrs. per week and typically are paid $10/hr.

At this time I already have a student interested in wage payroll position who is a Jr. in Chemical Engineering. I have several resources and means for advertising within our own college as well as the College of Engineering. I will get you copies of student resumes and transcripts and then let you interview them to see if they suit your needs.

Please contact me ASAP as students are always looking early on in the semester for positions. Again this is an excellent way to integrate students into the research environment.
