The Stripper Well Consortium website has a new look. Check it out at www.energy.psu.edu/swc [2]. In addition, The Stripper Well Consortium request-for-proposlas (RFP) is now available. The RFP is focused on developing new hardware to help small producers improve the production performance of domestic petroleum and/or natural gas stripper wells. Proposed technologies should improve production, reduce operator costs, and strive to improve the environmental footprint of stripper well operations. Businesses and institutions who are developing new hardware to help small producers are encouraged to apply for funding consideration. Download the RFP from the website. RFPs are due November 1, 2012.
