Driven in part by issues like climate change, global interest in the development and deployment of sustainable energy technologies is rapidly growing. Sustainable energy is often used to collectively refer to renewable energy and energy efficiency. The EMS Energy Institute’s Sustainable Energy Program combines interdisciplinary research and collaboration with a strong tie to the public and private sectors. These partnerships enable the Institute to be at the forefront in sustainable energy technologies.
