 Combustion Research

Determining combustion behavior is an intergal part of evaluating a fuel. This is especially true in the case of developing new alternative fuels. The Energy Institute has years of experience in conducting combustion tests firing traditional fossil and biomass fuels and alternative fuels such as coal-water slurry fuel (CWSF) and emulsions in conjunction with other fuels.
