The Spring Meeting for the Stripper Well Consortium will held at the Inn on the Lake, Canandaigua, New York on May 22-23, 2007. The meeting will be the opportunity to hear presentations from all proposals submitted in response to the Request for Proposals (RFP). The Executive Council will meet immediately following the close of the general session to consider and suggest projects for co-funding. Council's responsibilities include attending a 2-day proposal meeting to review and select proposal for SWC funding, to participate either in person or via teleconference in other Council meetings, and are encouraged to serve on Ad hoc committees to steer the SWC research projects.
The SWC wishes to thank the following 2005-2006 Council members who faithfully served the past two years.
Two SWC sponsored projects will appear in the upcoming NETL GasTIPS magazine http://www.netl.doe.gov/technologies/oil-gas/ReferenceShelf/GasTIPS/GasTIPS. html
The articles are from the "Uncovering Bypassed Pay in Central Oklahoma Using Statistical Analysis and Field Tests" project by Schlumberger Consulting Services.
The second article is on the "Pumper/Well Tender PDA Program for Small Producing Companies" project by the Oklahoma Marginal Well Commission.
The final technical reports for the projects that were approved in March 2005 ended on December 31, 2006, with final reports due March 31, 2007. Reports are scheduled to be distributed to the 2005 SWC Full members in late April or early May 2007.
