The EMS Energy Institute outreach efforts are structured to provide technical support to the clean energy industries in the U.S. and abroad. Linking technical research expertise and programs along with the development of new initiatives is vitally important to the development and expansion of new energy technologies. Our four primary energy outreach activities are to bring together and link expertise, to develop industry-driven partnerships, to support energy education events, and to provide technical services to the energy industries. Some examples of these efforts include:
Services
- Center for Quantitative Imaging
- Penn State Coal Sample Bank
- Argonne Coal Sample Bank
- Hardgrove Grindability Index (HGI)
- Standard Reference Samples
